I call this the “China Light” because it doesn’t really have a manufacturer (at least not one I can read or pronounce) and is listed on eBay simply as the CN-126.
It might not be as powerful as a Bescor 50/100 setup, but it only costs $50. It comes with a diffusion filter and a daylight warming filter.
It can run on a Sony battery or 6 ‘AA’ batteries. The shoe mount/bracket is rather flimsy, especially when you are rocking a larger battery, but it still gets the job done. What can you expect from something so inexpensive?
Check it out on eBay
UPDATE: Seems they are selling for around $30 now… Buy a few. They are pretty easy to break.
