Some really great advice is given here, and this should be viewed by anyone (everyone) looking to make their footage a little less shaky. One thing I found rather counterintuitive is to turn image stabilization off when using a tripod. Who knew?

Canon Introduces the EOS-1D C

I posted a picture of this concept a while back, however at that point it was just a rumor.  Canon has finally announced the EOS 1D C, a DSLR that will shoot in 4K resolution (4096 x 2160), as well as many other formats.  This is huge.  All I can say is that I want it.
